Dr. Apesos is an active staff member at Kettering Medical Center, Franciscan Medical Center, Children's Medical Center, in the Dayton, Ohio area, and Deaconness Hospital in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He performs outpatient surgery at all of the Miami Valley's surgicenters. Dr. Apesos' patients come in a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and cultures. His patients have traveled from the European, Asian, and African continents for treatment by Dr. Apesos. Improving the appearance, self-image, and function of all his patients remains his chief focus. As his practice keeps growing, his ideas for the new century are sure to be exciting. Dr. Apesos has given numerous presentations, and has published journal articles on the subject of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He has joined with other knowledgeable physicians to educate and stimulate discussions on the latest techniques. Always ready to discuss the latest in plastic surgery, Dr. Apesos has been featured in a CBS Television special "Ordinary Extraordinary" and has been presented on The Learning Channel and lately on ABC Television's 20/20 where he performed laser surgery on a patient who utilized hypnosis instead of the typical anesthesia. His candid approach and willingness to speak his mind have contributed to making him an internationally known spokesman for plastic surgery. While his practice is now devoted to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Apesos feels compelled to tell the story of a young man's courage. The story has captured hearts around the world and has been featured on network daytime and evening network television.
